The South Seas Showroom (a.k.a. The Balinese Ballroom)

Much of the Balinese Room pier has been changed, remodeled, damaged, destroyed and rebuilt over the decades. One part that has remained practically identical to its original construction is the Balinese Ballroom itself. From the bamboo and wicker paneling and ceiling to the beautiful, full-color murals painted near the beginning of the 20th century, the Balinese Room is historically significant due to its colorful past and its architectural resilience for almost a century.

Come to the Balinese Room today to have a drink and toast the rich Galveston history which our historic pier represents!
