Book Your Band at The Balinese Room

The Balinese Room depends heavily on band draw. Draw in Houston or your home town does not necessarily equate to draw in Galveston. Talent is a threshold issue; we look to see what marketing the band does themselves as a major component as to who to book. General reputation/name recognition is a big factor.

The South Seas Show Room (*) seats up to 250 and showcases mostly classic rock, blues rock and Motown type bands.

The Casinobar (*) seats about 175 and show cases mostly modern rock bands, with some reggae, hip hop, comedy, etc.

Average cover is $5 to $10 and we try to cover the band expense at the door.

The Balinese Room provides marketing in numerous newspapers and publications, marquee, hand bills inside the club, website, and often, but not always flyers and radio, etc.

We provide a basic PA system at each venue and stage lighting. You will be responsible for your bands’ special sound and/or lighting requirements. Most shows start at 9:00 to 9:30 p.m. and end at 1:30 to 2:00 a.m.
